Blanket and Winter Clothes Distribution in North Bengal – Led by Muhammad Raj

In our continued efforts to support vulnerable communities, Muhammad Raj, director of the Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh (HCSB), leads a large-scale blanket and winter clothes distribution program across various regions in North Bengal and beyond. This initiative aims to bring warmth and relief to the underprivileged during the harsh winter months.

Extending Support Across North Bengal and Dhaka

Alongside winter clothes distributions in Dhaka, our team has embarked on a mission to reach the most remote areas of North Bengal. So far, we have successfully distributed export-quality blankets and warm clothing in Kurigram and Lalmonirhat. Additional distribution drives are planned for other regions in North Bengal, and we will soon travel to Bandarban, InshaAllah.

Helping 100 New Muslims and Helpless Families in Nageshwari, Kurigram

In the face of severe cold, Muhammad Raj and his team distributed blankets to 100 newly converted Muslims and vulnerable families in Nageshwari, a region nearly 400 kilometers from Dhaka. This trip is part of a larger initiative to provide essential winter aid to 550 needy families.

Reaching Sialkhowa in Lalmonirhat

Following the efforts in Kurigram, Muhammad Raj led a distribution of winter clothes among Muslim and Hindu families in Sialkhowa, Barajan village in Lalmonirhat. This remote community gathered in prayer as they received much-needed warmth during this cold season.

Bringing Aid to Dohogram, Lalmonirhat

Dohogram, surrounded by India and connected through the Tin Bigha Corridor, often remains overlooked. Understanding the immense hardship faced by the residents, the Hafezzi Charitable Society, distributed 200 blankets across two key locations in Dohogram. These efforts reflect HCSB’s commitment to reaching marginalized communities, regardless of their isolation.

Ongoing Winter Aid Program

The North Bengal Winter Relief Program will continue until mid-January and February, InshaAllah. The team is dedicated to providing warmth and comfort to as many families as possible.
